Presentation Instruction

Oral Presentation

You are strongly encouraged to come to the room 10 minutes before the session begins and give your presentation file to the staff. The rooms will be equipped with a computer, LCD projector, screen, microphone, and pointer. If you require use of the overhead projector instead of the LCD projector, please let us know in advance. We recommend that you bring either PowerPoint or Adobe PDF presentation files in a USB memory or CD, which should be compatible with Microsoft Windows OS. You may also bring and use your own laptop computer for your presentation.

Poster Presentation

The panel size for poster presentation is of 0.9m (width) x 1.3m (height). We recommend that you prepare your poster presentation on either one sheet of A0 size (841mm x 1189mm) or several sheets of A4 size.

Short Oral Presentation for Poster Presenters

All poster presenters are required to make 3 minutes short oral presentation on January 22, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The presentation time should be kept strictly to 3 minutes per poster presentation, including the time needed to move on to the next speaker. While one speaker is giving his/her presentation, the next several speakers should wait nearby in line for their turn in order to move on to the next presentation. Note that any absent speakers will be skipped. Only a PC projector will be made available. Presenters should provide the session staffs with an electronic copy of their presentation files at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the session so that all presentations can be preloaded on the conference computer. The files must be either PowerPoint or Adobe PDF, which should be compatible with Microsoft Windows OS. The file name should be same as your paper ID, i.e., "P01.ppt" or "P01.pdf".
