Dear Colleagues

It is a great pleasure to announce that the 2nd international symposium of the global COE program will be held from December 1, 2009 to January 15, 2010.
The symposium will focus on the research challenges in future electronic devices and provide an opportunity for scientists and engineers working in various fields of electronic devices. You are cordially invited to participate in the symposium.

Papers are solicited in, but not limited to the following area:
  1. Sensor devices
  2. Photonic devices
  3. Power devices
  4. New materials for electronic devices
  5. Characterization and analysis of electronic devices
  6. LSI implementation of electronic devices
  7. Other devices

Several invited talks on current and future prospects by leading researchers will be arranged by the organizing committee. The original contributions will be welcome. The presenters are requested to submit a manuscript to the publication office prior to Nov. 10th, 2009.

Instructions for Preparing Manuscript

Deadline for paper submission is Nov. 10th, 2009. (Early submission is appreciated.)

your manuscript will be provided to the attendants at the start of the symposium as a book of abstracts.
No copyright is required.

Workshop 1, 3 and 5 will welcome oral or poster presentation.
The presenters are asked to submit the manuscript to the publication office as a pdf file. The manscript must be arrived at the office prior to Nov. 10th, 2009.
Please prepare it according to the Author's Instruction as given below.

Recommended length for the manuscript:

Invited Speaker: 2 or 4 pages
Other Presenters (Poster presentation): 2 pages

When you made registration, you may have registered with your own password and then please use the same password. Or you can find the password in the email titled "Your upload password is automatically generated: EDIS2009, OSAKA University" that you received from GCOE office (confgcoe.eei.eng.osaka-u.ac.jp).
